D & J Dunlop © 2011 Design by Dalreada Robert Kelly was born in Glasgow and educated at Calside Primary School, Dumfries, Kirkinner  Primary School near Newton Stewart and thereafter at Douglas Ewart High School, Newton  Stewart.  He then joined Ferguson & Forster, solicitors in Newton Stewart, training as a Scottish Law  Accountant, attending Strathclyde University to obtain his Diploma.  He thereafter spent six months with Alexander Stone & Co, solicitors in Glasgow before joining  Messrs D & J Dunlop in May 1994.  Since joining D & J Dunlop he has passed The Association of Taxation Technicians examinations. Robert is a Law Society of Scotland Registered Paralegal and lectured in Inheritance tax for the  Society of Law Accountants in Scotland (SOLAS) from 1998 to 2010.   He is married with two children and lives in Alloway, Ayr.   His interests are varied but predominantly include cycle road racing/time trial, hockey, hill walking  and snow boarding.
